ANOVOS Wrap (Season 2)

Retail product and screen-used original comparison by ANOVOS Productions.

The ANOVOS Season 2 "Captain Kirk Green Wrap" (2011 - 2021) was patterned from a screen-used wrap in the collection of Greg Jein (also pictured herein). Its wool double-knit was advertised as the "exact style and color wool fabric as used for the original". It is a point of interest that the retail colour actually seems more vibrant; in counterpoint, the screen-used wrap had been fading for 40+ years, so perhaps a "colour correction" was made. It set a new bar for licensed replicas, and is screen accurate enough to be archived here for historical / supplemental STAR TREK costume research.
